Accessibility Statement
This statement was last updated on [25th April 2026].
We at Arts for Action are working to make our site www.transformconsult.org accessible to people with disabilities.
Transform Consult, a subsidiary of Arts for Action, is committed to making the Building Transformation website as accessible and inclusive as possible.
Transform Consult / Arts for Action is run by Melissa Eveleigh, so while we may not have the same resources as a large organisation, we take accessibility seriously and aim to improve the website wherever we reasonably can.
What web accessibility means
An accessible website allows people with disabilities to browse, understand, and use the site with the same or a similar level of ease as other visitors.This includes people who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice recognition software, screen magnification, captions, or other accessibility tools.
Accessibility on this website
We aim to follow the principles of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, wherever reasonably possible for a small, independently run organisation. As part of this, we aim to:
-
use clear and consistent page structures;
-
use headings in a logical order;
-
write in plain, accessible language wherever possible;
-
ensure text has sufficient contrast against the background;
-
avoid unnecessary motion or flashing content;
-
make the website usable on different screen sizes;
-
add alternative text to meaningful images;
-
ensure links and buttons are clearly labelled;
-
make key information available in text format;
-
review the site for accessibility issues when making updates.
Known limitations
We are working to make the website as accessible as possible, but some areas may not yet fully meet the highest accessibility standards. Possible limitations may include:
-
third-party booking, payment, video, or embedded tools that we do not fully control;
-
downloadable files or older documents that may not yet be fully accessible;
-
occasional formatting or design issues caused by website platform limitations.
Where we identify accessibility barriers, we will aim to fix them where reasonably possible.
Third-party content
Some parts of the website may include content, links, forms, booking systems, payment tools, videos, or embedded features provided by third-party platforms.We cannot always control the accessibility of third-party content, but we aim to choose tools and platforms that support accessibility where possible.
Accessibility for Building Transformation training
Building Transformation is delivered online and includes live, participatory, reflective, and embodied learning activities.
We aim to make the training as inclusive and accessible as possible. If you have access needs, health considerations, caring responsibilities, sensory needs, mobility considerations, or concerns about taking part in embodied exercises online, please contact us before booking or as early as possible. We will do our best to discuss reasonable adjustments. These may include, where possible:
-
adapting participation in movement-based exercises;
-
offering alternative ways to take part;
-
sharing information in advance;
-
allowing camera-off moments where appropriate;
-
supporting different communication or reflection styles;
-
discussing pacing, breaks, or wellbeing needs.
Because this is a live, interactive training, some adjustments may need to be planned in advance.
